Got 11,516 steps in today on my #Samsung watch! Got a #Maintain at #SlimmingWorld today but as long as it isn't a gain, I'm happy with that. Only got 3lbs/3.5lbs left to go until I reach target. Trying to get as much #Exercise in along with #HealthyEating.

Had to come out of the gym this morning after doing some arm weights. Lots of people in, it was too hot, and I felt faint.

My hand still hurts but is healing well. I was able to do my mobility stretching routine today, and hold on to the barbell for all major lifts (no weights). I think I should be able to restart Jiu-Jiutsu training and weight lifting in a week or two.

Last week I was going to compete in a Jiu-Jitsu tournament, but two days before I hurt my hand in practice, badly enough that I'm still off the mats.

Four days before the injury, I started water fasting to get my weight down to welterweight. I succeeded at that, but...

I believe I injured myself because my body and mind were weak and slow to react after 4 days of water fasting.

Lesson: when water fasting, rest! If can't rest, don't water fast!

Yeah, and it's getting towards winter and I'm asthmatic, so I run on the treadmill to avoid the cold air getting to my lungs. Trouble is, it's often too hot in the gym! Can't win.

It's hard to explain it, but despite being wet, grey and a bit cold, this mornings' #cycling commute to work was really enjoyable. Traffic was very heavy, but I just felt like I flowed through it. Lights changed when I reached them, I filtered into traffic as it started to move, smoothly and I rarely had to stop.

Absolutely love it when you flow to work. 😎

Those following along will know that I cut back my running due to be in hospital a couple of times in September. All good, but I was overdoing it.
